In the text ‘Catch Me If You Can’ by Steven Spielberg, Frank Abagnale Jr was an admirable character. The audience had feelings for this character that helped them to understand the text as a whole. The three main feelings that the audience has for Frank Abagnale Jr that help them to better understand the text are that he is clever, charismatic and he is mischievous.
The first feeling the audience has towards Frank Abaganle Jr that helps them to understand the text better is that he is clever. When the audience admires that Frank is a very clever person and they understand that he is sly and smart, then they begin to understand that the movie is about his ability to be intelligent in a street smarts sort of way and therefore this helps them to gain a better knowledge of the movie overall.
The second feeling people have for Frank Abagale Jr that helps the audience to understand the movie ‘Catch me if you can’ is that he is very interesting.
